Fluorite Ore That Can Be Hand-Selected

Fluorite ore is a very important mineral resources, mainly used in metallurgical and chemical industries. The commonly used method for fluorite ore beneficiation can be gravity separation or hand-election which is not that familiar to people. Now, Forui gives introduction to hand-selected fluorite ore beneficiation.

Hand-selection beneficiation is an artificial method for fluorite ore beneficiation, and the flourite ore shall be coarse particle embedded. After crushing and screening, monomer dissociation can be achieved between fluorite and gangue.

The fluorite ore particle size shall be more than 30mm for hand beneficiation and monomer dissociation can be achieved just by crushing, only by this way, users can get qualified fluorite concentrate of metallurgical grade as following image.

 

This picture shows a good monomer dissociation fluorite crystal lump ore, after being crushed and screened, the particle size is around 30mm already carried out monomer dissociation between fluorite ore and gangue. The proportion of fluorite crystals is significantly greater than that of the gangue, so with hand sorting method, users can easily pick out qualified concentrates.

Hand-sorting method has the advantages of low cost and small investment, however it also has a lot of disadvantages, such as low efficiency, high labor intensity, not that perfect effect, etc. In order to make the metallurgical grade fluorspar ore beneficiation more simple and convenient, it always need re-election, tailings scavenging and further recycling for hand sorting fluorite ore.

The separation requirement for hand selection fluorite ore: horizontal belt conveyor and enough workers in both sides.
